Solidum explained this is the worst case scenario because Metro Manila is within the Valley Fault Line formerly known as the Marikina Fault Line. The fault line starts from the Sierra Madre down to Santa Rosa, Laguna and crosses to Tagaytay, parts of Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon City, Pasig, Marikina and parts of Makati.

Figure 2. A) Map showing the locations of the east and west Marikina Valley faults, which strike through the metropolitan Manila area (Metro Manila, light shading) of central Luzon. The Maislap trench site is on a northeast-trending splay of the west Marikina Valley fault in the northern part of the Marikina Valley. B) Map of the trench site, showing fault traces and trench and stream exposures.

locations of the east and west Marikina Valley faults

pag sinuswerte... at natrack ko yong mga exact location i will post it here ba... hehehe... but if some has the record kindly post na lang din po... hehehe...

Lalo't noong malakas ng lindol I guess last 1991.

Earthquake Belts
About 95 percent of the energy released by earthquakes originates in a few relatively narrow zones. (Figure 25). The greatest energy is released along a path surrounding the Pacific Ocean known as the circum-Pacific belt. Included in this zone are regions of great seismic activity such as Japan, the Philippines, and Chile. Areas of the United States that are part of the circum-Pacific belt lie adjacent to California’s San Andreas Fault and along the western coastal regions of Alaska, including the Aleutian Islands.
