My name is Ed Apurado, i am an Australian citizen for 21 yrs and this year 2010, i applied for an additional citizenship and that is getting back my Philipppine citizenship.  I am now a dual citizen of both countries.

I am divorced four years ago and my three kids are already of matured age but no grandchildren yet.  I am looking forward of having a semi-retiment in Panglao Island, Bohol.  I am not from Bohol and for me that was the last island in the Philippines that i will visit.  Fortunately, last year, a friend invited me to go and visit him.  I fall in love of the place and its people because it reminish my childhood memories.  i was able to see again the natural habitat when i was young in my hometown in Negros where i grew up, where the sea and the surroundings were still unspoilt and natural. Today, it was full rubbish (plastics, rubber tyres, etc) where the rainbow fish and corals are still the beauty of the attractions.

I worked as an education agent in my own business helping my kababayans to achieve their dreams come true in a rich country like Australia.  Becoming an international student is only a stepping stone but the aim is to become a permanent resident after staying two years as the law required as well as getting a skill that will fill up the need of the country.  Australia is the fifth richest country in the world.

Even if i lived here in Melbourne for more than 2 decades, and my kids have adopted the Australian culture, i am still a Pinoy sa puso't diwa.  I taught my kids our culture which is acceptable to me.  I teach them to eat chicharong bulaklak; dinuguan; kare2; humba and adobo.  they love my leche flan very much and my mongo with ampalaya.

want to know more of me? i will tell u next time..if u have questions for me..
