On the economic front after 18 months in office, naging mas maunlad ba ang Pinas sa pamumuno ni Noynoy?

I intentionally omitted "maybe" to discourage fence-sitters. Kung talagang may pagbabago, nakabuti ba o nakasama? It's the results that count. Kaya yes or no lang ang choices...

Hit and run ang style mo, ah.

Still living a day to day existence (isang kahig isang tuka)

But according to the BBC news and Bloomberg on TV "the Philippines is projected to do well in 2012".

A billion dollars has flowed into it's stock exchange from foreign investors.

Our Peso is doing better than some of the neighboring countries.

and Investors are optimistic about the present goverment.

Now that is according to foreign news. OK. Not Local news, propaganda or chismis or even from me.

What I do see is a lot of construction similar back during the term of Pres. Ramos.

A lot of people say back then we were a tiger cub economy.

I dont know anymore what to expect from them (politcians)  parang ang ini-isip lang nila parati sarili lang nila.

I worry nalang about my kids and try to guide them towards "Daan na tuwid tungo sa pag-asenso"

Strange! The poll says YES - 6 votes, NO - 3 votes; but no one justified his YES vote.

FYI. The board members of both SWS and Pulse Asia, the most popular polling firms in the country, are old familial friends and relatives of either Cojuangco's, Aquino's and other surnames that have relations as a result of marriage to either mentioned families.

Surveys, which are conducted and then fed to the media, specially one that has subtle bias for Pnoy (ABS-CBN) can be very influential specially to the often gullible public.

paano ba natin dapat maramdaman? kung may business ka, your sales should be going up (marami din ibang factors like product, marketing and others), pag employee ka dapat marami opportunity available. pag unempployed ano dapat maramdaman? puro tulong ba sa gobyerno? or dapat maraming jobs available.

Hmmmn....I one of my business is dealing with LPG. When the customer hears of the new price (Last Feb. 01 there was an increase) some where really surprised. What the govenment said was that there was a price increase due to the world market value. The stated increase was 6 pesos / kg. What they didn't say was that the increase did not include VAT yet. So we the retailers have to place the VAT on the end price. Since the increase we have recorded 2-3 customers per day opting not to buy yet or more commonly looking for cheaper products, most likely from independent retailers/dealers who are mostly not selling the correct weights.

So the government taxes the entry of fuel products, taxes the production, taxes the transport, taxes the distributions, taxes the retail, then add to all these taxes is the VAT in the end. Wonderful consumer market.

Prices of common goods are increasing. I don't see quality jobs being created that are not contractual (BTW, you've got Cory Aquino to thank for the "Contractual Work") I'm keeping my profit margins but they're not increasing in percentage.

Yes. We are better than Greece. Yung PSE index natin tumaas. As according to Bloomberg: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-02-20/emerging-market-stocks-head-for-6-month-high-as-china-cuts-reserve-ratios.html

Meaning maraming foreign investors' money na pumasok at confident sa ating outlook, being one of the emerging markets.
Now, doon sa nagsabing walang nagawa si Pnoy sa kanilang buhay-buhay, what are your expectations for an Executive of the Philippines to do with your lives? Giving you money?

Yeah, right.

Giving money? Ginagawa na ni Noynoy yan. Have you heard of CCT that promotes mendicancy?

This is capitalism for pete's sake. Together we stand, divided we fall. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Kasi dapat ayusin muna ni Mayor o Governor ang peace and order sa lugar nila, then, investors will come. Check out Cebu and Davao?
