I am living (& working) in Thailand (my Filipino wife and kids are with me) and know of some opportunities for Filipino teachers (or aspiring teachers) to teach in a School with International School Curriculums (G.E.D and IGCSE). I understand that the school also accepts teachers who are not teaching graduates, but you must have the ability to teach well.

Typical (practically all) International School fees are extremely high in Thailand and are literally beyond the reach of most Filipinos OFWs here, so this school is often the only way out to continue education for their children if they do not know the Thai language. Although here are some Thai schools here offering English Programs (still very expensive though cheaper than International Schools), but the students still have to study a certain % of the subjects in Thai, so lack of Thai language knowledge will disqualify them from admission.

This headmaster/principal of this school (a PhD with a Pinay wife) has placed a specific focus on Filipino families in Thailand/Bangkok by providing Filipino students with very affordable education that can lead them onwards to College Education. He needs more Filipino teachers to help him in this mission. My 2 kids are currently attending the school as well.

If you have interest to teach in Thailand, and especially if you are already visiting in Thailand and looking for job opportunities, please send your resume to the headmaster at "niva_edu@yahoo.com".

EDIT: Just adding a Note about living in Thailand/BKK:
It really a nice place to live in - very Clean and Safe and THE Thai people are generally very friendly and helpful to foreigners (as my family had experienced). The Standard of Lliving is higher than most parts of Philippines (closer to Ayala standard) {I would say somehere in between that of Philippines and Singapore) and yet the Cost of Living is significantly lower!!! It sounds too good to be true but this is a reality. My Filipino wife and 3 kids are very happy here, being able to do what we just could not do back home due to the high cost back there.

With a roughly equal income (in terms of figures) as in the Philippines and with the better exchange rates and significantly lower cost of living, one can live here relatively confortably and even save some money, unlike the living from hand-to-mouth lifestyle many faced back home
